How to Choose the Right Size in 3 Easy Steps

1. Find the Weight of Your Loved One

The simplest way to choose an urn or scattering tube is to match the weight of the person or pet before cremation to the correct size. A general rule is 1kg of body weight = approximately 1.6 cubic centimetres (cc) of urn capacity.

2. Match the Weight to the Right Size

Use this quick size guide:

Small (380cc) – For pets or individuals up to 6kg

Medium (690cc) – For pets or individuals up to 20kg

Large (1860cc) – For individuals up to 60kg

Adult (3790cc) – For individuals up to 120kg

If your loved one weighed over 120kg, you may need a larger urn or multiple urns.

3. Choose Based on Your Plans

Scattering Ashes? Choose a scattering tube, available in different sizes and designed for easy use.

Keeping or Burying? Pick a permanent urn made from stone, ceramic, or metal in a design that reflects their personality.
